On December 14, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CATL) and Chery Holding Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Chery Group) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Zeng Yuqun, Chairman of CATL, Tu Feng, Co-President of the Marketing System, Feng Chunyan, Co-President of the Supply Chain and Operation System, Liu Changyan, Executive President of the Domestic Passenger Vehicle Division, Yin Tongyue, Chairman of Chery Group, and Zhang Jinsong, Assistant to the General Manager, attended the signing ceremony.
According to the agreement, CATL and Chery Group will carry out all-round cooperation in the fields of products, business, marketing, commercial information resources, etc. In addition to passenger car battery supply and technical cooperation, the two parties will also jointly explore public transportation, new energy three-electric integration and battery replacement in the fields of buses, logistics vehicles, heavy trucks, electric ships, etc., to promote and lead the high-quality development of the industry.
The signing of this agreement marks the official launch of comprehensive strategic cooperation between CATL and Chery Group. Both parties will make full use of their respective advantages and resources to jointly explore the domestic and overseas new energy vehicle markets. The conclusion of this deepening cooperation will help enhance the market competitiveness of both parties, promote the sustainable development of the new energy industry and the popularization of electric vehicles, and jointly contribute to the realization of the global carbon neutrality goal.
