Recently, Kechuang Energy Storage completed the on-site commissioning and equipment trial operation of the intelligent flexible power supply system in Shanghe County, Jinan City, Shandong Province, becoming another highlight of Shandong's clean energy supply system.
The energy situation in Shanghe County is relatively complicated. The access of various power sources such as wind power generation, photovoltaic power generation, and biomass power generation has had a great impact on the operation of the power grid.
Considering the actual situation of the overall power grid in Shanghe County and factors such as the capacity and penetration rate of the substation, Kechuang Energy Storage selected the Liuji North Substation in Liuji Village as a pilot project and invested in an intelligent flexible power supply system. After completion and commissioning, it can improve the local consumption, balance regulation and safe carrying capacity of distributed photovoltaic power grid in this substation, and add new functions such as dynamic capacity increase, reactive power compensation and off-grid backup power.
The project selected a 120kW/215kWh intelligent flexible power supply system, which adopts a combined cabinet structure and has the advantages of flexible configuration, convenient transportation and small footprint.
At present, the intelligent flexible power supply of Kechuang Energy Storage has been spread across many regions of the country, effectively solving problems such as short-term overload of transformers in the substation area, three-phase imbalance, and reactive power management; coordinated control realizes the consumption of wind and solar power generation; in addition, it has the function of supplying emergency power, and the configuration of SCR cabinet can achieve on-grid/off-grid switching within 10ms. This solution has the advantages of good real-time communication and high dynamic reliability of the system, which is especially suitable for dynamic capacity expansion in remote areas and reduces investment in distribution network equipment.
