Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen joins hands with CATL to develop the Dongfeng Fukang ES600 into the EVOGO combination battery-swap sedan model

Recently, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co., Ltd. and Times Electric Service Technology Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation framework agreement for the EVOGO battery swap project. According to the cooperation agreement, the three parties will jointly develop a combination battery swap model based on the vehicle-battery separation model, using Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile's Dongfeng Fukang ES600 as the carrier. At present, the Dongfeng Fukang ES600 combination battery swap version is undergoing a series of adaptability tests and is scheduled to be sold to online car-hailing and other operating markets in November this year. This means that the Dongfeng Fukang ES600 combination battery swap version will soon become the sedan model of CATL EVOGO, and also become the third small green ring model of EVOGO. The cooperation project between CATL and Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile on battery swap services is operated by Times Electric Service, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CATL.

In the future, owners who purchase the Dongfeng Fukang ES600 battery swap version will enjoy affordable and convenient battery swap services through the nationwide EVOGO service network. CATL and Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile have been working closely together for many years. Regarding the cooperation with CATL to enter the battery swap track, Li Yang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Marketing, said: "Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen will achieve a strong combination with CATL in many aspects such as technology, resources, and services to optimize the resources of both parties. At the same time, Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile is also actively preparing for more electric models, which will meet the diverse energy replenishment needs of users to the greatest extent through a combination of charging and battery swapping, and provide car owners with the best energy replenishment experience."
