Guoxuan High-tech's front-end lithium mine resource layout has added a new member. On May 20, Yichun Guoxuan Mining Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guoxuan High-tech, successfully won the prospecting rights for the porcelain clay (including lithium) mine in Shuinan Mine Section of Geshili Mining Area, Yifeng County, Jiangxi Province with a bid of 460 million yuan. This is the second prospecting right obtained by Guoxuan High-tech in Jiangxi.
According to the "Report on the Assignment of Prospecting Rights for the Porcelain Clay (Containing Lithium) Mine in the Shuinan Mine Section of the Geshili Mining Area in Yifeng County, Jiangxi Province" issued by the Yichun Municipal Natural Resources Bureau of Jiangxi Province, the mine is located at a 45° angle in Yifeng County, Yichun City, about 30 kilometers away. It is administratively under the jurisdiction of Huaqiao Township, Yifeng County. The prospecting right area is 0.26 square kilometers, the porcelain stone ore resources are 55.0706 million tons, and the associated lithium metal oxides are 181,750 tons.
In February last year, Guoxuan High-tech signed a contract with the Yichun Municipal Government, and Jiangxi Guoxuan settled in Yichun. Guoxuan High-tech not only invested in the construction of a power lithium battery factory in Yichun, but also invested in the construction of lithium carbonate processing plants in Yifeng, Fengxin and other places. Among them, the company's Guoxuan Kefeng in the Yichun Economic Development Zone in Jiangxi Province produces 20,000 tons of lithium carbonate annually, and the lithium carbonate projects invested and constructed in Yifeng and Fengxin each produce 50,000 tons annually. It is expected that the total annual production of lithium carbonate will reach 120,000 tons by 2025.
The acquisition of the prospecting rights for the Shuinan Mine Section (containing lithium) in Yifeng County by Yichun Guoxuan Mining is an important step in the layout of the entire industrial chain of Guoxuan High-tech. It is conducive to stabilizing the supply of lithium carbonate, reducing procurement costs, and consolidating the company's market position in the power lithium battery industry, which is in line with the company's strategic development positioning and needs. Yichun Guoxuan Mining will increase the development of lithium resources on the premise of meeting the safety requirements of green mines, and help Yichun achieve high-quality leapfrog development.
