China Energy Storage Network News: On May 11, the internal review of the feasibility study report of the 330 kV transmission line project from Wushan Substation to Lvyuan Substation in Tianshui, Gansu Province was completed. The project includes the expansion of the 330 kV incoming line of Wushan (Ningyuan East) Substation and the 330 kV outgoing line interval of Lvyuan Substation, and the construction of a new 330 kV Lvyuan to Wushan transmission line. The line passes through Wushan County, Tianshui City, Zhang County, Min County, Dingxi City, and Dangchang County, Longnan City, "three cities and four counties", with an altitude of 1,342 meters to 3,120 meters, a total length of 110 kilometers, a total investment of 260 million yuan, and is scheduled to be put into operation in 2023.
After the project is put into operation, it can effectively solve the problem of transmission lines in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture and other places being affected by natural disasters such as geological hazards. By improving the structure of the 330 kV power grid in southeastern Gansu from "series supply" to "ring network" mutual supply, the ability to deal with the risk of power grid safety accidents will be improved. According to the 2030 design year calculation, the project can export clean hydropower in southern Gansu, and at the same time solve the problem of surplus of new energy photovoltaic and wind power in the regional power grid.
