On May 14, according to the information from Jiangxi Province's online approval and supervision platform for investment projects, Weijing Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd.'s annual 3GW zinc-iron liquid flow battery production project was approved. The construction site is located in Ningdu County Industrial Park, with a total investment of 8 billion yuan. It will start this year and be completed in 2024. It will be built in two phases. The total investment in the first phase of the project is 2 billion yuan, mainly to build a 1GW/5GWh zinc-iron liquid flow battery production line and some supporting facilities; the total investment in the second phase of the project is 6 billion yuan, mainly to build a 2GW/10GWh zinc-iron liquid flow battery production line and some supporting facilities.
