On May 10, the Ningxia Development and Reform Commission issued a notice on the launch of pilot projects for new energy storage projects in 2022, clearly stating that a number of new energy storage pilot projects will be built in Wuzhong City, Zhongwei City and Ningdong Base.
In principle, the number of energy storage pilot projects in each region shall not exceed 2, and the total scale of projects in each region shall not exceed 200 MW/400 MWh; Yinchuan, Shizuishan, and Guyuan are encouraged to select one energy storage project to participate in the pilot application, and the total scale of projects in each region shall not exceed 100 MW/200 MWh;
The region’s first vanadium liquid flow, compressed air, flywheel, sodium salt and other advanced new energy storage technology projects will be included in the pilot project support scope, and the scale of a single project will not exceed 100 MW/200 MWh.
