Recently, Chengde City, Hebei Province issued the "Chengde City's Key Investment Promotion Projects for Utilizing Foreign Investment in 2022".
Chengde City has released 100 foreign investment projects with a total investment of US$27.36 billion, including four projects in the energy storage field.
Vanadium Energy Storage Industrial Park Project
Total investment: US$169 million
The project is located in Shuangluan District, covering an area of about 10 hectares. The new project will produce 500 cubic meters of vanadium battery liquid per year, 60,000 square meters of proton membrane, and 200MW of vanadium battery production capacity. The specific construction content includes production plant (including plant office), project display, public works, warehouse, R&D workshop, etc.
High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park Project
Total investment: US$470 million
The project is located in Beimaquanzi Town, Yingzi District, with a planned area of about 1,000 mu. It will build a high-end equipment manufacturing industrial park focusing on the development and utilization of vanadium-titanium new materials. It will focus on the research and development of high-strength vanadium-containing steel deep processing, auto parts, and vanadium-titanium new materials. At the same time, based on the existing APV and flake vanadium pentoxide, vanadium-nitrogen alloy and other varieties, it plans to develop a series of vanadium products such as high-purity vanadium, high-vanadium iron, vanadium aluminum alloy, vanadium battery electrolyte, and build a high-end equipment and auto parts industrial park.
Nano-power generation self-charging graphene supercapacitor energy storage system industrial technology research project
Total investment: US$110 million
The project is located in Liugou Park, Chengde County High-tech Industrial Development Zone, covering an area of about 3.7 hectares. The new comprehensive office, R&D laboratory and auxiliary rooms have a total construction area of 0.36 hectares. A total of 110 new glove boxes, high-power capacitor charge and discharge testers, tab welding equipment, electrochemical workstations, F1IR thermal analyzers, high-resolution transmission electron microscopes and their supporting auxiliary equipment have been added, which can produce 3,000 sets of self-charging graphene supercapacitors annually.
New energy vehicle parts and vehicle manufacturing projects
Total investment: US$160 million
The project is located in Huaifeng Industrial Park, Fengning Economic Development Zone, Hebei Province. It will build related projects such as automobile shell, motor, gearbox, steering gear, air conditioning, lighting system, new energy vehicle battery, intelligent interconnection system, etc., and finally realize the assembly of the whole vehicle.
