China Energy Storage Network News: At 9:10 am on April 9, the East China Branch of State Grid Corporation of China received an application from the Anhui Electric Power Dispatching and Control Center, requesting assistance in absorbing photovoltaic power generation in northern Anhui.
Recently, affected by the epidemic in East China, the load level of the East China power grid has been lower than expected and continues to operate at a low level. At the same time, due to the abundant wind and solar resources in East China in spring, wind power, photovoltaic power generation and other new energy sources in the grid continue to produce large outputs, and the pressure on the grid to absorb new energy has increased. The State Grid East China Branch closely monitors the operation of the power grid, and combines various factors such as external power plans, new energy output forecasts, load forecasts, and power grid maintenance to conduct timely analysis of new energy absorption capacity to ensure full absorption of new energy.
In recent years, the scale of photovoltaic power generation installed in northern Anhui has developed rapidly. Affected by the current epidemic, it is difficult to consume photovoltaic power in the region locally, and it needs to be sent out with the help of the 500 kV grid in East China. After receiving the application on the same day, the East China Electric Power Dispatching and Control Center responded quickly. According to the actual operation of the power grid, it immediately proposed and implemented the corresponding operation control measures, checked and adjusted the operation plan of the direct management units on that day, and carefully checked the relevant operation status of the power grid. At 13:00, when the maximum output of new energy in the East China Power Grid reached 40.7 million kilowatts on that day, the dispatcher on duty made full use of the differences in load characteristics between provinces, actively coordinated inter-provincial support, and provided the maximum support of 450,000 kilowatts of negative standby to the Anhui Power Grid to make room for the consumption of new energy. Confirmed by the Anhui Provincial Dispatching Center, the province's new energy was fully consumed on the 9th.
