On March 10, GAC Aion's self-developed power battery pilot production line started construction, marking the official implementation of the "Proposal on the Construction of Self-Developed Battery Pilot Production Line" approved by GAC Group in October last year. It is also a milestone for GAC Aion's self-developed power batteries.
The self-developed battery pilot production line project covers a total area of approximately 10,500 square meters, including the complete battery production process from slurry preparation to battery pack, as well as laboratories for material research and development, physical and chemical testing, and electrical performance.
The self-developed battery pilot production line is expected to be completed and officially put into operation by the end of 2022. GAC Aion's self-developed batteries, including sponge silicon negative electrode batteries, will be independently produced on this pilot production line, bringing users a step-ahead technological enjoyment.
