On January 28, a 15GW N-type ultra-low carbon high-efficiency heterojunction cell and 15GW high-efficiency solar module project with a total investment of about 15.2 billion yuan was established in Ninghai, invested and constructed by Risen Energy Co., Ltd. The signing and implementation of this project is a major move for Ninghai to lay out the "photovoltaic + energy storage" industry chain, plan a 100 billion photovoltaic energy storage industry base, and create a provincial "new star" industry cluster.
The project is located in the Binhai Economic Development Zone in the south of Ningbo, with a land area of about 1,448 mu. It will be built in two phases with a total development and construction period of 30 months. It will be produced and constructed by Dongfang Risheng, a leading enterprise in Ninghai's local photovoltaic industry, using its own advanced technology and processes. It is expected that the annual main business income of the project will be 25 billion yuan after reaching full production. At the same time, as a core link in the photovoltaic industry chain, the project plays a leading role and will form a high degree of cooperation with the photovoltaic high-transmittance substrate project, attracting a number of photovoltaic industry chain supporting enterprises to settle in, and further accelerating the development of Ninghai's photovoltaic industry cluster.
"Seize the 'dual carbon' trend, plan and form a number of major new energy projects, strive to exceed 200 billion yuan in total industrial output value in five years, and rebuild Ninghai's industry." The main person in charge of the Ninghai County Party Committee said that Ninghai strengthened the concept of industrial first priority, vigorously implemented industrial innovation projects such as 365 manufacturing cultivation and 215 strong enterprise team building, and coordinated the promotion of green transformation of traditional industries, cultivation and expansion of emerging industries, and upgrading and expansion of leading industries, so as to achieve a major leap in development through major industrial upgrades.
In recent years, Ninghai County has closely followed the theme of high-quality development, planned emerging industries at a high level, strengthened top-level design, and promoted the cultivation of the "photovoltaic + energy storage" industry in a full-chain manner. According to the newly issued "Implementation Plan for the Cultivation of Photovoltaic + Energy Storage Industry in Ninghai County", a new highland of photovoltaic energy storage industry with a scale of 100 billion yuan will be created in the province during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. At present, leading enterprises in the photovoltaic energy storage industry such as Risen Energy, Qibin Group, and Zhenyu Technology have set up branches in the Southern Binhai Economic Development Zone of Ningbo and the Meiqiao Block of Ninghai Economic Development Zone, and the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain are constantly improving.
In the next step, Ninghai will continue to work hard in industrial planning, investment attraction, industrial cultivation and brand building, establish cooperative relationships with leading and outstanding companies in the energy storage industry, cultivate a group of specialized and innovative small giant companies, and work together to promote the rapid development of the full-chain aggregation and cluster expansion of the photovoltaic energy storage industry.
