China Energy Storage Network News: Recently, the Phase Regulator Simulation Laboratory of Qinghai Electric Power Research Institute was established to provide technical support for the operation monitoring, fault diagnosis and analysis, and scientific research and training of centralized and distributed phase condensers in Qinghai Province.

According to reports, the laboratory relies on the construction of clean and flexible sending-end power grids, with centralized and distributed synchronous condensers as the main research direction. The laboratory's responsibilities are to support the lean operation and maintenance of condensers, optimize the operation mode of condensers, conduct problem diagnosis, analysis and evaluation and formulate anti-accident measures, use panoramic visualization mathematical models to simulate the deep joint control of all station equipment, carry out condenser simulation training, and improve the technical capabilities of operation and maintenance personnel. The laboratory will expand and utilize the remote online monitoring data of rotating units such as condensers, pumped storage power stations, and thermal power plants, build a comprehensive platform for operation monitoring and online fault diagnosis and analysis of rotating generators in Qinghai Province, and strengthen the coordination and linkage between sources and networks.
