Fujian Province launches first power grid enterprise agency power purchase transaction

China Energy Storage Network News: In order to thoroughly implement the relevant requirements of the State Council Executive Meeting on further deepening the reform of coal-fired power generation on-grid electricity prices, Fujian Province recently carried out its first power grid company agency power purchase transaction.

The transaction was conducted through a purchaser listing transaction, which was conducted by State Grid Fujian Electric Power Co., Ltd. The listed electricity volume was 3.8 billion kWh, and the listing price was the transaction price of the December monthly centralized bidding transaction, which was 0.4717 yuan/kWh, 0.0785 yuan/kWh higher than the Fujian Province benchmark price. A total of 27 power generation companies participated in the delisting, including 18 large coal-fired power generation companies, 6 other small coal-fired power generation companies and 3 coal-fired power generation self-contained power plants with surplus power connected to the grid, and 3.8 billion kWh of electricity was traded.

In the next step, the Fujian Energy Regulatory Office will continue to do a good job in supervising power grid companies' agency power purchasing transactions, and promote the effective implementation of the national coal-fired power generation on-grid electricity price reform and related policies on power grid companies' agency power purchasing.
