On December 1, the Guangdong Equipment Supervision Association issued the "Electrochemical Energy Storage Device Supervision Specifications" group standard, which aims to fill the gap in supervision technical specifications in the field of power energy storage, ensure the unification of quality control processes and activities such as design, manufacturing, storage, transportation, installation, commissioning and acceptance of electrochemical energy storage devices by relevant parties in the industrial chain, and promote and provide technical support for industrial upgrading and quality improvement.

This standard is jointly researched and developed by relevant units in the industry chain of electrochemical energy storage devices, including use, supervision, and manufacturing. Its purpose is to achieve co-construction, co-governance, and sharing of equipment engineering quality by "raising the bar".
