Incorporating technological innovation in the automotive industry into the national regional innovation system and building innovative industrial clusters are effective means to build a path for the modernization of automobile development. Under the guidance of regional industrial development strategies, many provinces, cities and districts in my country have begun to lay out technological innovation and development in the automotive industry. For example, the "14th Five-Year Plan for Science and Technology Innovation in Guangdong Province" proposes to focus on cultivating the development of strategic pillar industry clusters such as automobiles, keep up with the trend of electrification, networking and intelligent transformation of new energy vehicles, and implement the "dual carbon" national strategy in depth. Focusing on the development needs of pure electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and intelligent networked vehicles, scientific research is carried out in the fields of basic materials, key components, intelligent software systems, and new platform architectures; focusing on integrated innovation, breaking through key core technologies, improving industrial basic capabilities, building an emerging industrial ecosystem, and improving the infrastructure system, Guangdong Province's new energy vehicle industry will be promoted to achieve high-quality and sustainable development.
In the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, my country's automobile industry needs to attach importance to scientific and technological innovation, actively integrate the national regional innovation system, and actively seek breakthroughs that will help China's automobile industry achieve the upgrading of its industrial base and the modernization of its industrial chain. In the construction of a high-level open regional scientific and technological innovation system, support the development of new R&D institutions, drive more different types of entities to participate in the scientific and technological innovation activities of the automobile industry, strengthen the coexistence of multiple disciplines, consolidate the knowledge base of regional scientific and technological innovation, and encourage investment institutions to operate incubators to provide innovation space for innovation entities. Actively promote the high-level integration of regional scientific and technological innovation systems into the global innovation network, make good use of both international and domestic resources and international and domestic markets, focus on new academic ideas, new scientific discoveries, new technological inventions, and new industrial directions, strengthen the source of scientific and technological innovation, the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and the development of scientific and technological empowerment, give full play to the advantages of industrial clusters, promote the free flow and efficient allocation of innovation factors such as automotive talents, funds, technology, and information, build a scientific and technological innovation ecology of mutual benefit, symbiosis, and efficient collaboration among automotive innovation entities, and improve the results of scientific and technological innovation in the automobile industry.

Looking back at the development path of my country's automobile industry and looking forward to the future development trend, from the national strategy of the "14th Five-Year Plan" to the unfavorable situation of key core technologies being restricted by people, it is necessary to clearly put forward the development strategy of scientific and technological innovation in the automobile industry. The breakthrough of my country's automobile industry in the field of scientific and technological innovation is expected to bring historical opportunities for overtaking and trillion-level market expansion. Scientific and technological innovation is the driving force and vitality of the next stage of development of my country's automobile industry. The new generation of consumers' attention to domestic products and pursuit of new things provide endogenous driving force for scientific and technological innovation in the automobile industry.
