On September 19, Tesla’s “Meet Spring City for Pure Electric Departure” opening ceremony of 22 service area supercharging stations in Yunnan Province was held in Kunming, and Tesla’s supercharging network in the southwest region was further expanded and upgraded.
With Kunming as the core, Tesla Supercharging Stations are laid out along eight self-driving routes, including Yinkun, Hangrui (east of Kunming), Shanghai-Kunming, Shantou-Kunming, Guangkun, Dali, Hangrui (west of Kunming), and Kunmo. Internally, they connect 16 administrative regions and lay out a total of 2,749 kilometers of expressways. They will connect more than 65 4A/5A-level "pearls" scattered in Yunnan into a dazzling tourist route.
In addition, the network layout of super charging stations in Yunnan highway service areas reaches four neighboring provinces, with Kunming as the core and radiating in multiple directions including Sichuan, Guizhou, Guangxi, etc.
