On August 9, the Shanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the "Notice on Organizing the Application for the First Batch of "New Energy + Energy Storage" Pilot Demonstration Projects", requiring submission before August 31.
Shanxi Province requires that the total energy storage scale of the first batch of pilot demonstration projects be 500,000-1,000,000 kilowatts. Among them, the rated power of independent energy storage monomer projects shall not be less than 10,000 kilowatts, the continuous charging and discharging time of projects participating in peak regulation shall not be less than 2 hours at rated power in principle, and the continuous charging and discharging time of projects participating in frequency regulation shall not be less than 15 minutes at rated power in principle. Other forms of energy storage power stations shall be determined on a case-by-case basis. Second-use power batteries shall not be used.
