Recently, Shouhang New Energy's photovoltaic grid-connected inverter was the first to obtain the new version of AS/NZS4777.2 certification and was successfully listed in the Australian CEC on July 20, 2021, indicating that Shouhang New Energy's photovoltaic grid-connected inverter fully complies with the new Australian standards and is the first to be introduced to the Australian market, providing Australian users with a richer range of product choices.
StandardsAustralia is the only standards-setting body designated by the Australian Federal Government. Only PV modules and inverters that comply with Australian standards (AS/NZS4777 and AS/NZS 5033) can be used for PV system design and installation. The only approved product list is updated by the Clean Energy Council. The new version of AS/NZS4777.2 was released on December 18, 2020, with a 12-month transition period. All listings in the old version of the standard will expire on December 18, 2021. After that, inverters tested to the 2015 version will no longer be eligible for listing.
The photovoltaic grid-connected inverter that has obtained the new Australian standard is SOFAR 3-6KTLM-G2, with a power range of 3-6kW. It is mainly developed and designed for household power stations. It has a stylish and lightweight body, an efficiency of up to 98.2%, built-in sound and light alarm, anti-backflow function, IV curve intelligent scanning, IP65 protection level and other functions. At the same time, it is equipped with a variety of monitoring modes that support RS485, wifi, Ethernet, GPRS, etc. Users can flexibly and conveniently realize remote monitoring. At present, this series of models has been widely used in more than 80 countries and has been highly recognized by customers. This time, it was the first to obtain the new Australian standard, which provides local users with a richer selection of inverters.
