At 2 p.m., the Modern Smart Supply Chain Operation Platform of State Grid Gansu Electric Power Company was officially launched for trial operation, and 207 standardized business items were launched simultaneously.

As a pilot unit of the State Grid Corporation of China's proposal to build a modern (smart) supply chain management platform, State Grid Gansu Electric Power successfully built and put 64 business scenarios into operation in 17 months, and completed the promotion and application of 29 business scenarios throughout the province 50 days ahead of schedule. Now the construction of the system has entered a new stage of deepening application and improving quality and efficiency.

"In the past, the review of each batch of plans was done manually and visually, and each review took at least two days, and sometimes mistakes were inevitable." Our reviewers can use the intelligent review scenario of procurement plans to realize one-click review of reported material demand plans, and can also conduct online review of technical specifications."

Since the beginning of this year, the company has shifted its focus from system construction to system practical operation and business transformation and upgrading, widely applied supply chain results, and further promoted all-round and full-chain quality and efficiency changes in supply chain management. With the pilot application of actual business, the effectiveness of the modern smart supply chain "5E one center" and "5 transformations" system in material planning, procurement, contract, supply, quality and other management has gradually emerged.

As an important part of the "5E" supply chain platform, the ELP platform gives full play to the advantages of the geographic information system. It collects and enters into the system important logistics nodes such as suppliers, warehouses, docks, receiving stations, and important landmarks that pose potential restrictions to overweight transportation, such as bridges, tunnels, and air obstacles, through digital survey technology. It becomes a geographic information resource library jointly built and shared by all users, realizing full-time and full-volume monitoring and automatic early warning of transportation resources, effectively reducing supply chain management costs and greatly improving work quality and efficiency.

It is reported that during the epidemic, the company realized the comprehensive sharing of inventory resources and the cross-regional linkage of emergency materials, which effectively guaranteed the orderly supply of emergency power supply materials for important users such as 21 party and government agencies, 102 epidemic prevention and control command agencies, 112 designated hospitals, 29 disinfection production enterprises, and 8 key pharmaceutical companies in the province. At the same time, the company used the modern "smart" supply chain platform to keep a close eye on the demand for power grid construction materials, actively connect with the State Grid Supply Chain Operation Center, open up the green channel for the transportation and distribution of power grid construction materials, ensure the unimpeded "last mile" of material supply, and effectively guarantee the supply of materials for power grid construction projects such as the "three districts and two states", "electric railway matching" and Qing-Yu DC.
