Qinghai-Henan UHV DC project operates at full capacity

The project has shifted from organizing the resumption of work and production to the stage of substantial resumption of production and full-load operation." Wang Yi, Director of the UHV Department of State Grid Henan Electric Power Company, said. In the Zhumadian UHV Yu'nan Converter Substation, the project participants of Henan Power Transmission and Transformation Construction Co., Ltd. are carrying out construction in full swing.

The Qinghai-Henan DC project is the first renewable energy UHV transmission project in the country and even in the world, and is one of the first national key projects to resume work and production by State Grid Corporation of China this year. Since the project (Henan section) resumed work on February 10, Henan Electric Power has adhered to the principle of "no adjustment of plans, no reduction of tasks, and unchanged goals", and has kept a close eye on the goal of "bipolar low-end start-up and energization on June 30, 2020" of the Qinghai-Henan DC project, and seized the important opportunity of the country's inclusion of UHV in the seven major areas of "new infrastructure", scientifically and orderly arranged the construction period, made every effort to overcome the impact of the epidemic, and accelerated the resumption of work and production of the project.

Henan Electric Power closely monitors the development of the epidemic, scientifically formulates isolation plans and epidemic prevention measures, establishes an epidemic prevention guarantee system in advance, and unblocks information channels. At the same time, it cooperates with professional medical institutions for joint prevention and control, and carefully divides on-site personnel into shifts, groups, zones, and time-sharing operations for fully closed management; it uses "intelligent temperature measurement and capture system" and "three-three system" "traffic police patrol method" and other means to monitor the health status of personnel in real time to ensure that epidemic prevention work is foolproof.
