As of the 12th, the power supply of Dongguan Power Grid this year exceeded 80 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 5.51%.
Dongguan is a world-renowned manufacturing city with an export-oriented economy. It is home to many manufacturing companies and is known as the "world factory". In recent years, Dongguan has been committed to building an international manufacturing center in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and implementing a "doubling plan" for enterprise scale and efficiency. As the economic situation improves, its electricity consumption is also increasing.
According to the Dongguan Power Supply Bureau, as Dongguan's economic and social transformation and upgrading continue to accelerate, the demand for electricity has also increased significantly. This year, the load of Dongguan's power grid hit a record high, reaching a maximum of 16.6379 million kilowatts, an increase of 7.03% year-on-year.
In order to promote the high-quality development of Dongguan's economy and society, Dongguan's power supply department has put into operation substations one after another this year to provide efficient and high-quality power supply services. In September this year, the 110 kV Renziyuan, 110 kV Yayuan and 110 kV Wusha substations were put into operation one after another. So far, Dongguan's power supply department has put into operation 196 substations of 110 kV and above this year. In December, four substations will be put into operation, which will achieve the goal of putting 200 substations into operation this year.
A relevant person in charge of the Dongguan Power Supply Bureau said that in the future, the Dongguan Power Supply Bureau will focus on high-quality power grid planning and construction, continue to optimize the power business environment, and provide Dongguan with reliable and high-quality power supply.
