It was learned on December 9 that the 750 kV Hexi power grid reinforcement project stability control system has undergone rigorous testing and passed factory commissioning and acceptance.
It is understood that the construction and commissioning of the 750 kV Hexi power grid reinforcement project involves the upgrading and transformation of 20 sets of equipment in 9 substations in the security control system of the Northwest-Xinjiang interconnection project, covering the three provinces of Gansu, Xinjiang and Qinghai. This factory commissioning tested 89 items in 6 major items, including hardware equipment and channel data of the 750 kV substation stability control system, to ensure that the functional strategy is fully verified. After the factory acceptance of the stability control system was completed, the Northwest Branch of State Grid Corporation of China completed the preparation of the stability control management regulations, carried out the calculation and setting of 1,820 stability control values of 9 substations, and prepared a stability control joint adjustment plan.
At present, the Northwest Electric Power Control Center is carrying out various preparations for the start-up and commissioning of the 750 kV Hexi power grid reinforcement project to ensure that the project is put into operation smoothly on schedule.
After the joint commissioning of the 750 kV Hexi power grid strengthening project stabilization and control system, the stabilization and control strategy of the 750 kV Xinjiang and Northwest interconnection channel can be further simplified, reducing the complexity of nearby power grid operation and control, greatly improving the power grid transmission capacity, and effectively promoting the consumption of new energy in the Northwest.
It is reported that the 750 kV Hexi power grid reinforcement project has a tight schedule, heavy tasks, and is put into operation in stages, resulting in a large workload for upgrading and transforming the security control system, a wide range of issues, great coordination difficulties, and complex control plans for the transition phase of the power grid. Previously, the Northwest Branch of the State Grid organized relevant provincial dispatchers and related units to complete the design and construction of the stability control system, phased commissioning, final plan strategy analysis and calculation, and stability control program development.
