On November 26, the Zhuhe Substation, Hebei's first multifunctional urban smart energy complex, was completed and put into operation in the Zhengding area of the Hebei Pilot Free Trade Zone. This urban energy complex, which integrates substations, charging stations, and data centers, and converges energy flows, business flows, and data flows, will provide smart energy services for the free trade zone.
This year, State Grid Corporation of China listed Xiong'an and Zhengding as demonstration areas for ubiquitous power Internet of Things. In June, Shijiazhuang Power Supply Company signed a "Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things Supporting Smart City Construction" with the People's Government of Zhengding County to accelerate the creation of a strong smart grid and a county-level demonstration area model for ubiquitous power Internet of Things.
Equip the green smart park with the "strongest brain" for energy use
On November 27, Zhengding welcomed the first winter snow of 2019, and the temperature dropped to minus 4 degrees Celsius. It was freezing cold outside, but it was warm as spring inside the classroom of the Vocational Education Park in Zhengding New District.
"We can monitor the classroom room temperature in real time through the smart energy sharing service platform. The current temperature is shown to be constant at 22 degrees Celsius," said Li Fengqiang, project manager of State Grid Hebei Integrated Energy Services Co., Ltd.
Zhengding County Power Supply Company promotes the introduction of clean energy into campuses, sets up 6 energy stations in the vocational education park, installs 169 air source heat pumps, 10 charging piles, 1,962 square meters of solar thermal systems and 45 kilowatts of distributed photovoltaics, serves more than 40,000 teachers and students, and provides air source heating, photovoltaic power generation, solar thermal water supply, electric vehicle charging, smart energy management and other services for the 900,000 square meter campus.
"The vocational education park project is designed to have a heat load of approximately 15,000 kilowatts. Compared with coal-fired heating, the use of air source heat pumps for heating can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 16,000 tons and sulfur dioxide emissions by 480 tons each year," said Li Juehan, project manager of the vocational education park.
On the basis of creating a green energy consumption model, Zhengding County Power Supply Company has synchronously connected the park's energy consumption data to the park's energy "nerve center" - the Intelligent Energy Sharing Service Platform (CIEMS). The platform can monitor the power distribution system, energy station, photovoltaic power generation, building energy consumption, etc. in real time, intelligently control, intelligently operate and maintain, and accurately analyze it. It can also assist in identifying and analyzing faults, determining causes, and providing customers with energy efficiency analysis and improvement solutions.
"Various types of data are accessed through the 5G network, and functional modules such as load forecasting, supply and demand balance, equipment capacity optimization, and technical and economic evaluation are used to provide economical, flexible, and reliable comprehensive energy guarantee services. This is equivalent to equipping the comprehensive energy equipment with a 'superb brain'." said Ma Yingxin, project leader of the comprehensive energy service project in the vocational education park.
In Zhengding New District, where the vocational education park is located, a 2 million square meter multi-energy complementary cascade utilization comprehensive energy demonstration zone has been initially formed, embodying the concepts of low carbon, ecology, green, clean and smart. In the demonstration zone, Zhengding County Power Supply Company, based on the characteristics of the region's emerging industries and high-end service industries, jointly promoted the construction of three-level energy stations with the government, established an energy analysis model through CIEMS, promoted the transformation of energy management from regional autonomy to regional coordination, and helped build a world-class green and smart free trade zone.
Energy data analysis assists ancient city management
"After cooperating with the power supply company, data on water, electricity, gas, heat, etc. have been connected to the Zhengding Energy Big Data Center. The power supply company provides energy consumption analysis reports and improvement plans every month. The company's comprehensive energy consumption cost has decreased by 5% year-on-year." On December 2, Ge Wenjun, logistics director of Changshan Textile Group, said.
In August this year, the first county-level energy big data center in China, coordinated and promoted by State Grid Hebei Electric Power, was built in Zhengding. The data center uses cloud computing, Internet of Things, mobile Internet and other technologies to achieve multi-energy access of "water, electricity, gas, heat and cold", and efficient coordination of "source, network, load and storage", ensuring information coverage of all links such as energy production, transmission, distribution and consumption.
On this basis, the Energy Big Data Center builds an inclusive and open data industry ecosystem, provides a variety of data value-added services such as energy efficiency consulting and energy data services to governments, enterprises, institutions and customers, and promotes the in-depth application of energy big data scenarios.
"The big data center has become the 'energy intelligence brain' for the construction of Zhengding Smart City, providing decision-making support for government policy formulation and industrial planning, and providing energy efficiency analysis and improvement services for enterprises and institutions." said Ni Xiaojie, head of the Zhengding Big Data Center. At present, the Zhengding County Power Supply Company provides energy data services to the county government every month, analyzes industrial energy consumption, and provides data reference for industrial structure adjustment. Recently, the company also conducted a special analysis of the nighttime energy consumption of the ancient city, assisted relevant departments in closing down 1,129 scattered and polluting enterprises, and conducted daily monitoring of 422 enterprises.
Smart sensing service makes electricity use more worry-free
"According to the analysis, the load below the switch No. 06038 on the No. 1 pole of the 685 Nanniu line at Nanniu Station is abnormal. Please send someone to verify the cause immediately..." At 10:00 on December 2, the multi-source data perception distribution network fault active handling system of Zhengding County Power Supply Company issued a command. Ten minutes later, the system received a reply: "The power supply station confirmed that the customer's distribution transformer was faulty and has notified the customer to repair..."
Taking the construction of the energy Internet demonstration zone as an opportunity, Zhengding County Power Supply Company has comprehensively promoted the integration of marketing, distribution and dispatching and data application, carried out precise data survey and dual-mode management, and achieved 100% accuracy in the "line-transformer" relationship of 10 kV line equipment and 100% timely maintenance rate of incremental data.
"Without adding distribution network data collection equipment and automation devices, we have achieved functions such as intelligent perception of multiple factors in the distribution network, automatic warning of power outages and power supply events at the minute level, and accurate push of power outage information text messages to households by opening up general power collection and engineering production management systems. The average power outage duration due to faults has been shortened by 66%, and the average emergency repair time has been shortened by 35.6%." said Zhu Zhifeng, director of the Power Supply Service Command Center of Zhengding County Power Supply Company.
Zhengding County Power Supply Company leverages its professional advantages to promote the "Electricity Butler" equipment maintenance service, and signs equipment maintenance contracts with government, school, enterprise, community and other customers. By installing sensors, the company connects customer equipment-related electricity data to the Electricity Butler monitoring platform, providing customers with value-added services such as data monitoring, electricity consumption analysis, and abnormal alarms, and carrying out intelligent equipment hosting to make electricity use smarter and more worry-free.
