On September 6, at the Internet of Things and Smart Energy Summit Forum of the 2019 World Internet of Things Expo held in Jiangyin, Wuxi, Jiangsu, the Jiangyin Energy Internet Cloud Platform was launched, becoming the first county-level energy Internet cloud platform in Jiangsu.
Previously, on August 19, the Jiangsu Energy Cloud Network Platform was officially launched. As one of the local sub-channel micro-applications of the Jiangsu Energy Cloud Network, the Jiangyin Energy Internet Cloud Platform was built by the Jiangyin Power Supply Company, which gathers various data from the power grid, government, energy industry alliance, and user side. By building a data platform, forming a set of evaluation systems, cultivating an emerging business model, promoting an industry alliance, incubating a number of technological achievements, and creating a number of key demonstrations, it realizes services such as energy collection and monitoring, energy efficiency analysis, and clean energy consumption, and builds a new energy Internet business model at the district and county levels.
The platform is designed with 420 functions in two phases, in accordance with the three major functional positionings of serving government decision-making, activating energy-consuming enterprises, and activating energy service providers. The first phase, which has been launched, is mainly aimed at relevant government functional departments and township parks, providing macro-industry and regional energy operation status and trend monitoring and analysis, and establishing a social comprehensive energy efficiency evaluation system. In the future, it will also provide energy-consuming enterprises with real-time monitoring and early warning management, unit energy consumption evaluation and analysis, and realize the visualization of the entire process of enterprise energy consumption and energy conservation and consumption reduction; for energy service providers, it will provide dynamic demand information of energy-consuming enterprises to promote the connection between energy service supply and demand.
