Recently, the reporter learned from Changsha County Xingcheng Development Group that the new energy vehicle charging station located at the intersection of Sanyi Road Bridge East and Dongsheng Road has been officially put into use, and new energy vehicle owners now have another convenient charging place.
The reporter saw at the scene that although it had just been put into use, the station was already full of new energy vehicles coming to charge. The charging station is located in the parking lot under the Sanyi Bridge. It is the first new energy charging station built in Changsha County using the parking lot under the bridge. It is built and operated by Xingcheng Development Group with a total investment of about 2 million yuan. A total of 24 charging piles are planned, including 20 fast charging (DC piles) and 4 slow charging (AC piles), which can provide 24-hour all-weather charging services. Charging charges for new energy vehicles will also adopt a tiered charging method according to different time periods.
"The entire charging station is built under a bridge, which is relatively cool. Especially in the summer, you can come here to charge after driving and take a rest. This is a big advantage that other open-air charging stations do not have." Guo Wei, a Didi driver who came here to charge, told reporters that after learning that the charging station was officially in use, he came here to charge for several days in a row. He can start charging by scanning with the relevant mobile phone APP, and billing is also done on the phone, which is very convenient.
It is worth mentioning that the charging station is equipped with a driver's lounge, where car owners who come to charge can go there to drink water, use air conditioning, go to the toilet, etc. The person in charge of the charging station said that in order to provide drivers with more convenient "one-stop service", catering and retail services will be provided in the future.
"The layout of new energy charging stations is a new trend in the current development of automobiles. It is also to respond to the requirements of the "Blue Sky Defense War" and provide strong hardware facilities for the further promotion and popularization of new energy." Cao Qingyan, deputy general manager of Changsha County Tongtu Transportation Construction Investment Co., Ltd., which is responsible for the construction of transportation facilities under Xingcheng Development Group, introduced that this place will be used as a pilot for the promotion of the construction of new energy charging stations, and the technical level in the field of new energy will be continuously improved during the operation and management process. The construction scope will be expanded in the future to benefit more new energy vehicle owners.
Charging stations play an important role as infrastructure to ensure the promotion of new energy vehicles. It is understood that Changsha County will increase its construction efforts in the next step and implement overall planning and unified management. The focus will be on improving the layout of charging stations in urban areas to achieve full coverage of urban areas. By then, it will provide strong support for the promotion and application of new energy vehicles in Changsha County, and also create a good new energy environment of "green energy and smart travel" for Xingsha citizens.
