State Grid Corporation of China is accelerating the construction of ubiquitous power Internet of Things on the customer side, and actively building a smart energy service ecosystem for consultation, sharing and win-win. In daily life, the majority of electricity users have gradually felt the new experience of electricity consumption brought by the ubiquitous power Internet of Things. Focusing on the strategic goal of building a world-class energy Internet enterprise with "three types and two networks", the company accurately grasps the energy needs of users, accelerates the construction of ubiquitous power Internet of Things on the customer side, deeply explores the value of marketing service resources, and actively builds a smart energy service ecosystem for consultation, sharing and win-win, continuously improving customer service levels, enhancing customer participation, satisfaction and sense of gain, and allowing people to live a greener and smarter new energy life.

Build a ubiquitous power Internet of Things on the customer side to continuously improve customer participation, satisfaction and sense of gain

On March 8, State Grid Corporation of China issued the "Outline for the Construction of Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things", proposing to take customers as the center, carry out the construction of ubiquitous power Internet of Things marketing service system, optimize customer service, metering and billing and other power supply service businesses, and enhance customer participation and satisfaction.

Today, these measures have begun to bear fruit. The transformation and upgrading of power sales services, the accelerated development of emerging businesses, and the gradual expansion of data scale... Since the construction of the ubiquitous power Internet of Things, more and more convenient power supply services are constantly emerging, and people are increasingly feeling the huge changes that smart energy use has brought to their lives.

On April 28, the "Online State Grid" (also known as "Handheld Power 2019") APP was first promoted and launched across Zhejiang Province, attracting public attention. As the only pilot unit in the State Grid system, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. fully promoted the application for the first time. This is also an effective exploration of the design of a unified entrance on the customer side for the construction of ubiquitous power Internet of Things. At present, the "Online State Grid" APP absorbs and integrates service platforms such as State Grid Mall, Electric e Bao, e Charging, and Guang e Bao, and builds a new "5+N" service channel, providing convenient electricity, smart energy use and other diversified services for five types of customers: residential, electric vehicles, shops, enterprises and institutions, and new energy. It has planned and designed 135 online service scenarios, and has now completed the online application of 81 service scenarios in the first phase.

In the residential channel, residential customers can perform basic services such as payment and electricity application, and can also experience special services such as auxiliary energy analysis, points, and shopping malls; the electric vehicle channel provides electric vehicle users with professional services such as recharging, finding charging piles, and one-stop service; the store channel provides low-voltage non-residential customers with basic services such as payment and electricity application, focusing on exclusive services such as electricity bills, energy analysis, and electricity bill finance; the enterprise and institution channel provides high-voltage customers with electricity application services, and strengthens professional services such as load monitoring and analysis, and energy efficiency diagnosis; the new energy channel provides photovoltaic customers with special services such as site construction consultation, photovoltaic registration, operation monitoring, grid-connected electricity charges and subsidy settlement.

"Online State Grid" is just one aspect of the State Grid Corporation of China's construction of a ubiquitous power Internet of Things on the customer side. Reporters learned that in the first half of the year, the State Grid's power outage information analysis and distribution network fault analysis functions of the pilot project were applied; the modern (smart) supply chain built 25 business scenarios; the online industrial chain financial platform was gradually promoted and applied, the new energy cloud platform started construction, and the business travel platform was promoted and applied in 17 units. The intranet mobile office was put into operation at the headquarters, integrating 68,000 mobile operation terminals, and the rectification of the "one person with multiple terminals" problem has made phased progress. Active innovations have been made in blockchain applications, distribution network visualization, and multi-station integration, and some useful explorations have also been carried out.

At present, State Grid Corporation of China has completed the 2019 construction plan for the ubiquitous power Internet of Things on the customer side, building a middle platform (ubiquitous power Internet of Things marketing service system, namely Marketing 2.0), two entrances ("Online State Grid" and "Green State Grid"), five source-grid-load-storage collaborative services (electric vehicles and distributed energy, smart home energy use, community multi-energy supply, commercial building energy efficiency improvement, industrial enterprises and parks energy conservation and consumption reduction), five energy Internet service ecosystems (electric vehicles, distributed photovoltaics, comprehensive energy efficiency, energy e-commerce, and marketing data commercialization), and planned 4 aspects and 13 key tasks to clarify the development priorities and goals of the ubiquitous power grid construction on the customer side.

Next, State Grid Corporation of China will further realize the deep integration of information and communication technologies such as "big cloud, Internet of Things, mobility, intelligence and chain" with marketing business and data, build a large and medium-sized platform for marketing service system, provide precise marketing services, accelerate the implementation of customer-side tasks, coordinate internal and external advantages, and accelerate the improvement of customer-side architecture system design to form a business blueprint and overall architecture of customer-side ubiquitous power Internet of Things; summarize the experience of the previous "multi-meter integration" information collection, and increase business promotion efforts and deepen data value mining through active connection with key government projects; accelerate research to clarify the functional positioning and interface connection of customer-side energy collaborative control system and source-grid-load-storage multi-coordinated ubiquitous dispatching control, and realize a comprehensive upgrade from "using electricity" to "using electricity well".

Accelerate the collection and integration of data and information to provide diversified value-added services

The construction of ubiquitous power Internet of Things not only serves the power system, but also provides people with a ubiquitous data and information service platform. With this platform, data, information acquisition and services can reach wherever electricity can reach.

In fact, relying on years of development and construction, the marketing and metering major of State Grid Corporation of China has connected to 480 million smart electricity meters and 40 million collection terminals. It is the basic data source for various businesses such as fault repair, power trading, customer service, distribution network operation, and power quality monitoring. It has a first-mover advantage in technology research and development and equipment development in supporting the construction of ubiquitous power Internet of Things perception layers such as "wide area interconnection", "holographic perception", and "multi-sensor collaboration".

On August 8, the State Grid Jiangxi Electric Power Co., Ltd. launched the fourth residential demand response pilot this summer in Nanchang, Jiujiang and Yingtan. On that day, 21,703 residential users were invited, 5,888 electricity-saving users were invited, and the power load was reduced by 3,717 kilowatts. During the response period, residential customers can voluntarily choose to temporarily shut down electrical appliances such as air conditioners, electric water heaters, washing machines, electric kettles, etc., or choose to increase the air conditioner temperature and other measures to reduce power consumption and reduce the power load during the evening peak.

In this electricity demand response, HPLC smart energy meters played a huge role. This type of energy meter has a minute-level data collection function, which can realize real-time monitoring of residential power load and power consumption, which removes technical obstacles for the promotion and implementation of residential user demand response. Through big data analysis, back-end operation and maintenance personnel can also provide more decision-making references for the government's summer scheduling work.

The application of smart energy meters in power demand response has improved the holographic perception capability of the power grid, accelerated the collection and integration of residents' energy consumption information and data, and achieved full perception of the status of equipment and customers in each link of energy collection, transmission, conversion, and utilization, and full penetration of business. It is an important attempt to build a ubiquitous power Internet of Things. Today, State Grid Corporation of China is formulating guidelines for strengthening data management and application, building a data management system, relying on the enterprise-level data middle platform, driven by demand and application, to carry out data access and integration, and gradually realize data statistics and automatic report generation in the same period; promote unified data models, carry out iterative improvement of models and basic data quality verification; optimize data resource catalogs, develop and promote digital products, and provide open sharing services.
