Among them, in terms of construction implementation, State Grid Shanghai Electric will actively implement the work requirements of Shanghai on refined urban management, rely on the coordinated linkage between government and enterprises, and accelerate the promotion and application of "diamond-type" wiring in the underground areas of overhead lines on the basis of the success of the existing pilot work; at the medium-term planning level, the company will further clarify the "diamond-type" target grid structure, usage area and specific technical requirements in the technical details of distribution network grid planning, and connect with Shanghai's "14th Five-Year Plan" distribution network plan.

At the same time, in conjunction with the "2019 Electricity Action Plan for the Integrated Development of the Yangtze River Delta", State Grid Shanghai Electric will also comprehensively promote the construction of a "diamond-shaped" distribution network in the Xihongqiao area, and promote the in-depth application of the "diamond-shaped" distribution network in the Yangtze River Delta region, helping to further improve regional power supply reliability and create a new energy engine for the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
