On August 2, State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company completed the security information entry work for the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City power facilities. Various inspection technical indicators passed the certification of relevant parties and will be put into trial operation at the end of August, marking a new achievement in State Grid Tianjin Company's expansion of ubiquitous power Internet of Things applications.

Since the beginning of this year, State Grid Tianjin Electric Power has implemented the instructions and requirements of State Grid Corporation of China on building a pilot demonstration of the integration of the "two networks" in the Binhai New Area, built and put into use the first provincial comprehensive energy service center in the country, established the Tianjin Energy Big Data Center, and carried out the construction of a smart energy demonstration town, which has become a highlight of Tianjin Company in the construction of ubiquitous power Internet of Things.

Relying on the Tianjin Energy Big Data Center, State Grid Tianjin Comprehensive Energy Service Center can provide Tianjin with power energy big data services, analyze Tianjin's economic development trends from the aspects of electricity growth and changes in electricity structure, and verify the effectiveness of Tianjin's policy implementation through changes in electricity in key areas, industries, fields and other dimensions. At the same time, it provides accurate data support for the optimization and upgrading of the economic structure, and effectively serves government decision-making, social development and industrial upgrading.

As the "Tianjin paradigm" of the ubiquitous power Internet of Things, the construction of smart energy towns selected the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City (Huifengxi) Town and Beichen Industrial-City Integration Zone (Dazhangzhuang) Town as demonstration areas, respectively committed to creating "ecologically livable" and "industry-city intensive" smart energy towns. Net-zero energy buildings use the most advanced building and energy technologies to achieve the goal of 100% self-production of required energy; active distribution networks can intelligently detect the health of the power grid, accurately report abnormalities and command emergency repairs. By September 2020, the two towns will be fully completed.
