On August 2, State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company completed the entry of security information for power facilities in Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City. All inspection technical indicators have passed the certification of relevant parties and will be put into trial operation at the end of August. This is an important measure for State Grid Tianjin Electric Power to expand the application of ubiquitous power Internet of Things.
It is understood that the urban security system is an important part of the construction of "Smart Tianjin", and the security of power facilities is an important part of it. The integrated application of the intelligent inspection of power facilities and the security system of the eco-city can realize the autonomous identification of hidden dangers of external damage to the power channel, making the power repair response more timely, the measures more effective, and the response more calm, making the monitoring of the operation status of power facilities more intelligent, expanding the ubiquitous power Internet of Things application ecosystem, and enhancing the social value of "two-network integration".
In addition, State Grid Tianjin Electric Power will strengthen technical cooperation with the Eco-City in areas such as autonomous identification of urban visual monitoring and autonomous inspections by drones, enhance the autonomous identification capabilities of the inspection system, and make the inspection of power facilities more suitable for the actual needs of coastal areas.
In the first half of this year, State Grid Tianjin Electric Power has deepened the construction of ubiquitous power Internet of Things on the customer side, built and put into use the first provincial comprehensive energy service center in the country, established the Tianjin Energy Big Data Center, and carried out the construction of a smart energy demonstration town.
On May 16, the State Grid Tianjin Integrated Energy Service Center was officially opened to the public. It serves as a visiting point for the 3rd World Intelligence Conference and a showcase for Tianjin's smart energy support and command city construction, spreading the concept and practice of the ubiquitous power Internet of Things. In addition to displaying the application scenarios of the ubiquitous power Internet of Things construction in Tianjin, the center can also accept customers' integrated energy business and automatically generate solutions, realize one-stop handling of integrated energy service business, build a smart energy service platform covering Tianjin, provide customized energy planning and solution support for Tianjin's smart city development, and become Tianjin's "smart energy brain" integrating five major functions: control, research, data, delivery and display.
On June 15, Tianjin Energy Big Data Center was officially established. The center can provide power energy big data services for Tianjin, analyze Tianjin's economic development trends from the aspects of power growth and power structure changes, and verify the effect of policy implementation through power changes in key areas, industries, fields and other dimensions. At the same time, it provides accurate data support for economic structure optimization and upgrading, and effectively serves government decision-making, social development and industrial upgrading. At present, the Energy Big Data Center has used the intelligent sensing technology of power load to provide comprehensive energy metering and evaluation services for a chain restaurant, and issued user energy analysis reports such as power consumption monitoring and analysis and energy consumption benchmarking, providing scientific help for enterprises to further save energy and reduce consumption.
State Grid Tianjin Electric Power actively promotes the construction of smart energy towns. In April, Tianjin Binhai Power Supply Company and the Sino-Singapore Eco-City Management Committee signed the "Sino-Singapore Eco-City Smart Energy Support Smart City Construction Strategic Cooperation Agreement". The Sino-Singapore Eco-City Smart Energy Development Research Center was unveiled. State Grid Tianjin Electric Power took this opportunity to accelerate the implementation of the "two-grid integration" comprehensive demonstration project. The construction of smart energy towns selected Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City (Huifengxi) Town and Beichen Industrial City Integration Zone (Dazhangzhuang) Town as demonstration areas, and are committed to building "ecologically livable" and "industry-city intensive" smart energy towns respectively. Net zero energy buildings in smart energy towns will use the most advanced building and energy technologies to achieve the goal of 100% self-production of required energy; active distribution networks can intelligently detect the health of the power grid, and accurately report and command emergency repairs when abnormalities are found. By September 2020, the two towns will be fully completed.
