On July 30, the 220 kV reinforcement project of Lishui Southwest Power Grid, undertaken by China Energy Construction East China Construction Investment Zhejiang Thermal Power, officially started.
The total length of the project line is 30 kilometers, with 77 new towers and 14 kilometers of OPGW optical cables replaced. It is scheduled to be put into operation in April 2020.
Lishui, Zhejiang, is known as "China's No. 1 Ecological City" and an important clean energy base in Zhejiang Province. In recent years, the local government has focused on the "13th Five-Year Plan" development plan, and has focused on a number of projects such as the 220 kV Southwest Power Grid Reinforcement Project, actively expanding power transmission channels, and accelerating the construction of new energy supporting transmission projects to help new energy projects generate electricity and transmit electricity early.
After completion, the project will help further strengthen the central and western power grid structure of Lishui, greatly alleviate the difficulties in grid connection, transmission and consumption of local green energy such as photovoltaic power generation, wind power and hydropower, and is of great significance for Lishui to make up for the shortcomings in the development of green energy industry, build a green energy base in East China, and promote the sustainable and healthy development of the economy and society.
