At 16:00 on the same day, the maximum daily load of the Xi'an power grid reached 7.46 million kilowatts, setting a new record for this summer.
The reporter learned that due to insufficient power distribution in the western part of the city, the long-term heavy and overloaded operation of power grid equipment, and the recent shutdown and maintenance of related units, the contradiction between power supply and demand is more prominent. In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the Xi'an power grid during the high temperature and high load in summer, the State Grid Xi'an Power Supply Company strictly implements the orderly power consumption plan. On the premise of giving priority to the normal power consumption of residents, it will implement orderly power consumption in some areas from 16:00 to 17:30 on July 26, and limit industrial and commercial loads. The short-term implementation of orderly power consumption controls the load of about 25,800 kilowatts, and industrial and commercial users in Daqing Road, Zaoyuan East Road, Kunming Road, Keji 2nd Road, Zhangba North Road and other areas are affected.
To ensure the safe and reliable operation of the Xi'an power grid during high temperatures and high loads, all employees of the State Grid Xi'an Power Supply Company stick to their posts, scientifically arrange the operation of the power grid, carry out 24-hour uninterrupted equipment inspections and maintenance, strengthen emergency duty, and ensure that the Xi'an power grid can safely and stably meet the peak summer demand.
