Distributed data center stations have many advantages
In recent years, Heilongjiang Power has continued to promote the construction of key projects such as a unified data center for all businesses, synchronous line losses, and unified identity coding for power grid assets, achieving data sharing and business integration, providing information and data support for the efficient operation of enterprises and power grids, and providing rich data resources for the construction of a ubiquitous power Internet of Things.
During this period, the company formed a scientific and technological innovation team for the information and communication company, relying on the technical reserves accumulated in the development and operation and maintenance of information and communication software and hardware, and independently developed a container data center for "multi-station integration". Compared with the large-scale investment required for the construction of traditional data centers, container data centers can be built in a modular way and can withstand high-cold climates. At the same time, high-density container data centers are used to carry large-volume computing services, and are managed in a coordinated manner through the fog platform to form a distributed data center.
It is reported that the container data center can operate stably for a long time, support remote management and operation of the container itself and the equipment installed inside through the network and out-of-band methods, provide all the dynamic elements of the computer room, and can collect and analyze the operating parameters of the equipment in the box to improve the automated operation and maintenance capabilities.
Promoting Lean Innovation in Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things
As Heilongjiang Electric Power has been approved to become the first batch of "multi-station integration construction and operation" pilot units of State Grid Corporation of China, the company will actively explore and promote the effective application of data center stations, energy storage stations, Beidou satellite ground reference stations, and 5G base stations in the power field.
It is understood that in the construction of "three types and two networks", with the rapid increase in the number of internal operation and maintenance objects, the rapid expansion of the scope, and the rapid increase in the difficulty of operation and maintenance, Heilongjiang Electric Power will use its technical reserves and application experience to create highly flexible, one-click operation micro-tools and other automated operation and maintenance tools, and rely on the efficiency, openness and scalability of the automated operation and maintenance platform to achieve technological breakthroughs, continuously improve the level of automated operation and maintenance, and solve problems such as high error rate, slow response speed, and difficulty in ensuring safety and quality.
Explore the business operation model of precision investment
According to relevant plans, Heilongjiang Electric Power will use the idle space resources of existing substations to build distributed data centers, energy storage stations, 5G base stations and Beidou satellite ground reference stations to verify the business model of "multi-station integration" with low investment; build a "multi-station integration" unified resource service platform, scientifically allocate space resources, store, integrate and analyze internal and external data resource information, and realize efficient resource management and operation; explore the "multi-station integration" business operation model, carry out external leasing business such as host hosting and bandwidth leasing, and provide value-added services such as IT resource private cloud and edge computing.
According to reports, the company will take the lead in making breakthroughs in the construction of distributed data center stations, and at the same time, build a unified resource service platform for "multi-station integration" to achieve comprehensive resource management and allocation. According to the plan, from 2019 to 2021, Heilongjiang Electric Power will increase the operation of "multi-station integration" and fully deploy distributed data center stations, with stations interconnected, mutually aware and coordinated, as the hub node for the comprehensive construction of "multi-station integration", forming a decentralized fog computing grid, providing strong support for the construction of ubiquitous power Internet of Things.
Zhao Wei said: "In view of the above situation, it is necessary to combine the construction of 'three types and two networks', through the 'multi-station integration' construction of 13 municipal power supply companies of Heilongjiang Power and the reinforcement and transformation of ubiquitous power Internet of Things nodes of 71 county-level power supply enterprises, to achieve infrastructure standardization, ubiquitous Internet of Things application platformization, and information operation and maintenance automation. On the one hand, this solves the problem of weak foundation of informatization construction of newly allocated rural power grid units of Heilongjiang Power; on the other hand, it builds regional hub nodes of ubiquitous power Internet of Things and initially forms the grid structure of ubiquitous power Internet of Things."
