Three SMA China subsidiaries under the SMA Group have recently completed the company name change after the MBO. In order to adapt to the strategic development of the new company and fully reflect the spirit and cultural characteristics of the new company, the new logo was used at the same time as the name change.
The name and logo changes are as follows:
New LOGO connotation:
The new LOGO is designed based on the Chinese character “士” in the company’s Chinese name. It represents the spiritual core and cultural characteristics of the new company with its humility, focus, perseverance and lofty aspirations, and gives the new company a talent concept of “putting morality first, loving only talent, giving the best to the people and making the best use of the talents”; the orange part symbolizes the sun and implies the industry; the blue part symbolizes the sky, the earth and the ocean, implying that the new company has a broad world to do great things; the white part is shaped like the Chinese character “士”, which is shaped like a sail breaking through the waves, and is light, sensitive and powerful, reflecting that the new company’s business style will be more agile, efficient and fast.
The change of name and logo will not affect the company's existing production and operation. In the future, the company will gradually carry out changes, revisions or inheritances of related internal and external logos, signs, corporate image, etc.

AISWEI, formerly affiliated to SMA Solar Technology AG (abbreviated as SMA Group), a world-renowned solar inverter R&D and manufacturing company, is a corporate group specializing in the R&D and manufacturing of photovoltaic inverters. The SMA China management team, led by Dr. Zhang Yong, acquired the equity and business of companies in China, including SMA New Energy Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., SMA New Energy Technology (Yangzhong) Co., Ltd., and SMA New Energy Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
AISWEI will continue to work closely with the SMA Group in R&D, production, supply chain and customer service, independently operate the company's original business and actively develop new businesses, new products and new markets outside the original business scope.
Relying on the technical accumulation and continuation of SMA's leading technology, AISWEI has participated in the formulation of many national and international standards and is the main drafting unit of the "Household Rooftop Photovoltaic System Certification Specifications" of the China Quality Certification Center.
At present, AISWEI has a full range of photovoltaic grid-connected inverter products from 1kW to 60kW, with a total production capacity of 2GW. The inverter products produced have been sold in dozens of countries and regions, bringing solar energy to users around the world. At the same time, through the continuously improved after-sales service system at home and abroad, it provides customers with continuous and stable quality assurance and more value-added services.
