At present, soft-pack battery die-cutting and stacking equipment suppliers include Green Sheng, Jiade Automation, Jiyang Technology, Chaoye Precision, Chaoyuan Precision, Zhongtianhe, and laser die-cutting machine supplier Han's Laser; followed by industry leaders Pioneer Intelligent and Yinghe Technology are also stepping up the research and development of stacking and die-cutting equipment. Suppliers of soft-pack battery back-end packaging equipment include Ali Shares, Jiyang Technology, etc.
Although the lithium battery industry has an overall overcapacity, we believe that there are still great opportunities for two types of equipment manufacturers, as shown in:
(1) The overall lithium battery capacity is in excess, but the structural capacity is still expanding. The capacity utilization rate of mid- and low-end lithium battery companies is seriously over-utilized, and they are being eliminated as the market reshuffles; the capacity of high-end brands, especially leading companies, is still insufficient, and the capacity of leading companies has expanded significantly. Equipment companies tied to battery leaders still have great opportunities.
(2) Technological progress brings new equipment requirements. In the past, lithium batteries were mainly cylindrical and square batteries. In recent years, soft-pack batteries have been recognized by more and more customers due to their excellent safety performance, and are expected to increase in volume in the next few years. Soft-pack battery equipment suppliers are expected to seize the expansion opportunities of soft-pack batteries, and core equipment such as die-cutting machines and stacking machines will benefit significantly.
