As of the end of November this year, Hangzhou has built 4,014 public charging piles, and the public charging facility service network for new energy vehicles in Hangzhou has basically taken shape. By the end of the year, the radius of public charging services in the traffic restriction areas during morning and evening peak hours in the main urban area will be reduced to 1.5 kilometers.
“Micro-complex” helps with charging and leisure
Mr. Xu, who lives in Wanjiaxingcheng, bought an electric car last year. He goes to the Zhongda Yintai City charging station on the north side of the Zhongda Yintai City complex opposite his home to "charge" almost every week. During the charging interval, Mr. Xu will go to the driver's rest area, which is equipped with air conditioning, TV, food vending machines and other facilities, and also provides self-service car washing services.
This is the first "electric vehicle charging station micro complex" in Hangzhou, which is equipped with 24 DC fast charging piles and can provide charging services for 300 vehicles every day. The charging station also makes full use of the parking space roof and is equipped with solar photovoltaic power generation devices to generate electricity for site lighting and other purposes.
In response to the growing charging needs of users in the surrounding area, the State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company has also expanded the Xiangzhang Street public fast charging station built earlier, adding 8 fast charging piles. After the expansion, not only has the charging queue situation been greatly improved, but a new driver rest area has been added to the station, providing drivers with a variety of additional services.
The public charging facility service network has basically taken shape
According to the 13th Five-Year Development Plan for Electric Vehicle Charging Facilities in Zhejiang Province, by the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan (end of 2020), Hangzhou will have built no less than 3,000 public charging piles. As of the end of November this year, Hangzhou has built 4,014 public charging piles, the largest number in the province, and the public charging facility service network for new energy vehicles has basically taken shape. From January to November 2018, 107 new public charging pile projects were built, totaling 1,264 public charging piles, completing the annual target task ahead of schedule. By the end of this year, the public charging service radius in the traffic restriction area during morning and evening peak hours in the main urban area will be basically reduced to 1.5 kilometers.
"Hangzhou e-charge" helps you find
According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Construction Committee, car owners can use the "Hangzhou e-charge" APP on their mobile phones to check the information of public charging piles in Hangzhou and navigate to the planned routes for charging in real time. Users can download and install the "Hangzhou e-charge" APP through the mobile application market and use it after registering an account.
At the same time, the intelligent management system of new energy vehicle charging facilities will monitor the operating conditions of the charging piles connected to the system, promptly discover existing charging pile failures, and require companies to make rectifications and repairs in accordance with operation and maintenance requirements to provide users with high-quality and efficient services.
