Through actual operation at multiple sites, Hopewind's distributed/centralized system has fully demonstrated its advantages of high reliability and high efficiency in harsh environments such as high temperature and high humidity.
1. Introduction to the trend of water surface photovoltaic industry
In recent years, water-surface photovoltaic power generation has attracted widespread attention as a new form of photovoltaic power generation. Water-surface photovoltaic power stations refer to photovoltaic power stations built on water such as ponds, fish and crab ponds, lakes, and reservoirs. They have the advantages of not occupying land resources and being able to consume nearby.
With the continuous development of the industry and the restrictions of land nature, the new photovoltaic market has gradually entered people's field of vision while the growth rate of installed capacity has continued to slow down. However, due to the issue of land use, the development of photovoltaics in coal mine goafs, deserts and saline-alkali land, or the combination of photovoltaics with agriculture, forestry and fisheries, has not been smooth in the market.
2. Selection of Water Surface Photovoltaic Equipment
In the application cases of Hopewind's distributed and centralized inverters in many water power stations such as Leader, Poverty Alleviation, and Fishery-PV Complementary, examples are used to analyze the advantages of water-based photovoltaics and the main technologies that affect water-based photovoltaics, as well as the selection and technical characteristics of its components, junction boxes, inverters, box transformers and other equipment.

2.1 Technical characteristics and requirements of Hopewind combiner boxes and inverters
1MW and 1.25MW box-type inverter rooms have become a relatively mature application mode. With the continuous advancement of technology, the capacity of distributed/centralized inverters has been continuously improved. For 1000V systems, a single array of 1/1.25/2.5MW is the best capacity choice, and the system has the best cost performance. In order to further improve the compatibility between inverters, transformers, monitoring and other components, the digital box-type inverter room with integrated medium-voltage system is the mainstream development trend and has been widely used in developed photovoltaic application regions such as Europe and the United States. Therefore, the solution recommends a 1/1.25/2.5MW distributed solution that integrates medium-voltage components such as transformers and ring network cabinets.
2.2 In high humidity environment, the PID attenuation of components is aggravated. Hopewind’s patented technology can suppress the PID attenuation of components and reduce the loss of power generation.

3. Conclusion
"Practice is the only criterion for testing truth." Hopewind's large-scale water surface photovoltaic power station distribution/centralized solution adopts the overall solution of water surface photovoltaic intelligent junction box + box-type inverter room (IP54). The water surface photovoltaic intelligent junction box has the advantages of high protection level (IP65) and strong corrosion resistance. The box-type inverter room has an anti-corrosion design and can be placed along the road or piled, which is convenient for later operation and maintenance. It has the advantages of integrated patented PID module, low initial investment cost, high power generation, and strong corrosion resistance. It has better solved the challenges faced by large-scale water surface photovoltaic power stations and is the best choice for large-scale water surface photovoltaic power stations.
Hopewind's distributed/centralized systems have been put into actual operation at multiple sites, fully proving their high reliability and high efficiency in harsh environments such as high temperature and high humidity. In addition, with the continuous optimization of products, we will provide customers with better quality products after repeated refinement based on existing products.
