China Energy Storage Network News: Recently, the State Grid Corporation of China Tianjin Electric Power Company announced that it has launched a research project on the "New Urban Energy Internet Demonstration Project" to explore the construction model of China's new urban energy Internet, improve regional comprehensive energy utilization efficiency, and promote the large-scale utilization of clean energy.
It is reported that the project is led by State Grid Tianjin Electric Power, implemented by Tianjin Electric Power Research Institute, and participated by State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power, NARI Group, China Electric Power Research Institute, Tsinghua University and other units and universities. The project is the fifth project of the 2018 National Smart Grid Technology and Equipment Key Project "Key Technologies and Applications of Energy Internet for New Towns". It focuses on the construction needs of energy Internet in new towns, applies technologies such as comprehensive planning of energy Internet, optimization of multi-energy flow operation, energy trading, and technical and economic evaluation, proposes the overall framework of the new town energy Internet demonstration project, develops a series of plug-and-play multi-energy conversion coordination control devices, and builds a complete set of energy Internet comprehensive management and service platforms. The results of the project will be implemented in Dazhangzhuang Town, Beichen District, Tianjin and Xinba Town, Yangzhong City, Jiangsu Province, respectively, making the two places typical demonstration projects of clean heating in northern towns and distributed green electricity consumption in southern towns.
