On June 15, the first electric vehicle charging station on the shores of Qinghai Lake was completed and debugged and officially put into use.

The Erlangjian Electric Vehicle Charging Station, located on the shore of Qinghai Lake, is 3,100 meters above sea level, covers an area of more than 2,600 square meters, and is equipped with 14 charging piles with a 30-minute DC fast charging function, which can meet the charging needs of different types of electric vehicles 24 hours a day. The station has built a large-capacity electric energy storage battery project for rooftop solar photovoltaic power generation and wind power generation, which fully and intuitively and truly presents the construction, production and application process of photovoltaic power generation, wind power generation and electric energy storage to the society.

The new energy exhibition hall can fully and multi-dimensionally display the development of new energy construction in Qinghai, the application of big data in Qinghai power grid, the operation of Qinghai-Tibet ultra-high voltage interconnection, the development history of international and domestic electric vehicles and charging piles, and other cutting-edge technological achievements, which plays an important role in demonstrating and promoting the promotion of new energy. At the same time, through the personal experience and perception of the majority of power customers, it plays an important role in demonstrating, guiding and radiating the promotion and application of smart electricity and new energy.

It is reported that in order to ensure the smooth commissioning of the charging station, the State Grid Hainan Power Supply Company designed and constructed it in accordance with the principles of "unified standards, unified specifications, unified identification, optimized distribution, safe and reliable, and moderately advanced" of the State Grid Corporation, with a total investment of 6.02 million yuan, 150 meters of new lines, and two 500 kV transformers installed. From the early site selection to the rectification and implementation of the power supply plan in the later stage, the overall project implementation time nodes and acceptance standards as well as various safety technical measures were strictly controlled to ensure the safe and reliable commissioning of the charging station.

The construction of Erlangjian charging station is a key task for the company to further promote the substitution of electricity in the area around Qinghai Lake and accelerate the transformation and upgrading of energy. In order to actively respond to the national energy strategy and protect the fragile and sensitive natural ecological environment in the area around Qinghai Lake, in recent years, the company has deeply explored the potential of electricity substitution and further expanded the coverage of electricity substitution in the area around Qinghai Lake. A total of 8 electricity substitution projects have been implemented, and 3.28 million kWh of electricity has been replaced. (Wang Jing)
