Recently, German photovoltaic inverter manufacturer KACO new energy said that the total order volume in the third quarter of 2017 reached 550MW, and the cumulative total order volume in 2017 was about 1.95GW, an increase of nearly 70% over the same period last year.
The strong order growth was said to be due to increased business in the US market, the Caribbean, and Mexico. Entry into new markets in the Asia-Pacific region also contributed to the growth.
Ralf Hofmann, CEO of KACO new energy, said: "In recent years, KACO new energy has been reducing its reliance on the domestic German market. Instead, we have been able to continue to develop in the US market, which is one of the largest regions in the world for photovoltaic power generation. From there, we have successfully expanded the company's influence in the Caribbean and Mexico. The company is currently looking at the Asia-Pacific region. Moreover, the company has already gained a foothold in India and has just established a sales point in Taiwan. After laying a solid foundation, we are about to step up our entry into the Japanese market."
The head of Germany's KACO New Energy Company pointed out that the total order volume for the whole year of 2017 is expected to reach 2.5GW.
