Gree launches local energy internet system in Berlin

China Energy Storage Network News: At the ongoing Berlin International Consumer Electronics Show, China's Gree launched the G-IEMS local energy Internet system to the world, providing solutions for the efficient management, conversion and use of energy.

According to reports, this system is not just a "network" for allocating energy, but also a complete ecosystem that integrates efficient power generation, safe power storage, reliable power transformation, efficient power consumption, real-time energy control, centralized energy information management, and lightweight interaction. The power grid provides more energy transmission channels, and each user will also become an energy producer.

Chen Zili, director of Gree's marketing department, said that relying on this system, the future city can be imagined as a "photovoltaic city", where every family can realize photovoltaic power generation, household energy storage, grid connection, self-generation and self-use by a single individual, and surplus power trading. Photovoltaics solves energy supply, energy storage solves energy storage, power conversion solves energy conversion, and photovoltaic air conditioners and DC appliances solve electricity applications.

He said he hopes this system will promote global energy sharing and interconnection, and build a new world of networked energy for homes, factories, communities, parks and even cities.

The Berlin International Consumer Electronics Show is the world's leading exhibition for consumer electronics and home appliances. This year's exhibition was held from September 1 to 6 and attracted more than 1,800 exhibitors, of which more than one-third were from China.
