Huawei has expanded its global presence in the solar industry, recently signing a new exclusive framework agreement with German solar developer Soventix, demonstrating the growing appeal of Huawei's innovative PV solutions and inverters in overseas markets. The framework agreement will make Huawei the exclusive supplier of inverter equipment for Soventix and its global solar projects.
Thorsten Preugschas, CEO of Soventix, commented: “We are very eager to work with Huawei as our main supplier of solar products. This is an important decision that underlines our belief in Huawei and its technology.”
In addition to the exclusive supply agreement, the two companies have agreed to a long-term collaboration focused on Soventix’s key international markets while also allowing Huawei to expand its global presence in the solar industry.
Preugschas continued: “Huawei FusionSolar Smart PV Solutions and their inverters ensure the quality of developing successful projects now and in the years to come.”
Soventix currently has 34.5MW of projects under construction worldwide, with 136MW ready for construction. This cooperation will allow Huawei to expand into different markets.

Their presence in the Americas and elsewhere makes them a strong partner for our growth in these markets, while ensuring Soventix gets the best benefits by using the best Huawei technologies,” said Alex Ehrlich, President of Huawei’s Smart PV Business.
