Recently, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine announced the results of the national supervision and random inspection of the quality of the third batch of photovoltaic grid-connected inverter products in 2016. A total of 52 batches of products produced by 52 enterprises in 13 provinces (cities) were inspected.

After inspection, 6 batches of products were found to be unqualified, and the unqualified items involved over/under voltage protection, harmonics and waveform distortion on the AC output side.

Compared with the first national random inspection of photovoltaic grid-connected inverters last year, the product sampling pass rate has increased by 14 percentage points; the number of unqualified product items has decreased, from 5 last year to 2, and the rated input and output, power factor and DC component items have all passed this random inspection.
