On August 15, 2016, solar photovoltaic inverter manufacturer Sungrow announced that it had won a contract to supply SG2500 photovoltaic central inverters to Mytrah Energy's 150MW photovoltaic project in India.

Sungrow will provide the design, engineering, manufacturing and assembly of central inverters for the PV projects in Mytrah, Telangana and Punjab, India.

The Sungrow SG2500 turnkey solution used in this project has high production capacity and a maximum system efficiency of 99%.

The 10-foot container-shaped design makes the SG2500 easy to deploy and saves installation time.

Sungrow President Cao Renxian commented that the signing of this contract has given tremendous impetus to Sungrow's solar inverter business in India.
