At the foot of Tianshan Mountain, the Chint Hejing 30MW photovoltaic power station successfully brought a blue ocean to the desert. After the joint efforts of the project team and the engineering construction unit, it was successfully completed and successfully connected to the grid for power generation. The project is expected to generate 40.823 million kWh of electricity in the first year, saving 14,902 tons of standard coal per year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 37,120 tons, reducing sulfur dioxide emissions by 119 tons, and reducing nitrogen oxide emissions by about 557 tons. It is a key project for Hejing County to vigorously develop clean energy and build a green ecological county.
Hejing County has clearly proposed in its 13th Five-Year Plan that it will take "building a green energy base" as an important development goal. The commissioning of this project has opened a new chapter in the new energy utilization industry, and will play an important role in promoting Hejing's green development and environmental improvement in the present and future, adding another highlight to the creation of the largest "green energy base" in southern Xinjiang.
