Recently, Jiangsu Zhaofu Aisuo New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: Zhaofu Aisuo), the newly developed photovoltaic inverter product Zeverlution Pro 40K-MV, passed the LVRT/ZVRT comprehensive test and certification of the National Energy Solar Power Generation R&D (Experimental) Center of the Nanjing Branch of the China Electric Power Research Institute at one time.
This test perfectly demonstrates the grid support performance advantages of the new 40kW Megavolt Aiso product:
1. The product has completed the low voltage ride-through (LVRT) test (including zero voltage ride-through) under three-phase symmetrical fault and single-phase asymmetrical fault conditions. It can operate uninterruptedly during the voltage drop and recovery period at all test points, especially it can still operate normally when it drops from 480V;
2. The product can correctly respond and generate reactive current as required during all types of fault conditions, and has dynamic reactive current support capability;
3. After the fault is eliminated, the product can restore to the pre-fault power value at a faster active power change rate.
From the historical evolution of LVRT certification of Megavolt Aisuo products, the voltage ride-through test has gradually increased from 300V to 480V, such as: 500kW first-generation machine (Vac=300V) in 2012, 500kW second-generation machine (Vac=315V) in 2013, 33kW (Vac=380V) in 2015, to the current 40kW (Vac=480V). The voltage level is getting higher and higher, and the difficulty and challenge of ride-through are getting greater and greater. However, these four products all passed the fault ride-through test at the National Solar Power Generation R&D Laboratory Center of China Electric Power Research Institute at one time, which shows that Megavolt Aisuo's technology is mature and stable in terms of grid friendliness and grid adaptability, and is worthy of the trust of customers.
The national standard sets clear requirements for photovoltaic power stations:
On December 31, 2012, China officially released the national standard GB/T19964 "Technical Regulations for Photovoltaic Power Stations Connected to the Power System". The standard puts forward clear requirements for the low voltage ride-through (LVRT) of photovoltaic power stations and is enforced on June 1, 2013. Low voltage ride-through technology is a powerful technical measure to ensure the safety and stability of the power grid system. If the photovoltaic inverter does not have the low voltage ride-through function, it will increase the difficulty of restoring the entire system and even bring additional disturbances to the already stable power grid, eventually causing the system to become unstable again. In recent years, as a necessary indicator to ensure the stable operation of the power grid, the low voltage ride-through capability of photovoltaic inverters has been increasingly valued.
[pagebreak]According to national standards, inverters for newly built, rebuilt and expanded photovoltaic power stations that are connected to the grid at a voltage level of 35kV or above, and connected to the public grid at a voltage level of 10kV, must have a low voltage ride-through function.
The new Zeverlution Pro 40K-MV product from Zeverlution has dual MPPTs and can be flexibly applied to large and medium-sized distributed and ground power stations connected to the medium voltage grid, such as rooftops, hills, agricultural photovoltaics, fishery photovoltaics, and forest photovoltaics. The product is small in size and light in weight, which greatly reduces the user's installation and maintenance costs. It has advanced power regulation and dynamic grid support functions, which can fully meet the requirements of grid-friendly access and intelligent control.
