In recent years, many inverter companies have also shifted their research and development focus to giant inverters. Experiments have shown that high-power inverters can bring higher returns to investors in photovoltaic power plants compared to traditional inverters. The rate of return is undoubtedly the primary criterion for investors to choose inverters. As more and more investors pay attention to the advantage of giant inverters, the market share of high-power inverters continues to expand.
Relevant data shows that a 100MW photovoltaic power station using a 2.5MW inverter can save 10 million yuan in initial investment compared to a 1MW inverter, which is equivalent to saving 0.1 yuan/W of investment, and the power generation can be increased by about 1%. From a long-term perspective, the total number of components required for high-power inverters is much smaller than that of traditional inverters, thereby reducing operation and maintenance costs and failure rates. In today's photovoltaic developed regions in Europe and the United States, solutions above 2MW have become the mainstream solution for large power stations.
Wanyin Technology, which is famous for its high-power inverters, will officially launch the ALBA series of plug-and-play inverters this year, following the launch of the ZENIT series of early warning photovoltaic grid-connected inverters in 2015. According to relevant personnel from Wanyin Technology, the ALBA series inverters will adhere to the product concepts of "building unattended power stations" and "zero factory operation and maintenance". Like the ZENIT series, the ALBA series inverters will use the control board and master-slave control strategy independently developed by Wanyin Technology, and have obvious advantages over traditional inverters in reducing harmonics and improving conversion efficiency.
In the field of photovoltaic inverters, Wanyin Technology is still a newcomer. However, its strong technical R&D strength and innovative ability have made Wanyin Technology the focus of the industry in just two years. With the gradual expansion of the high-power market, Wanyin Technology's leading technology and broad development prospects have been favored by industry capital. In February 2016, Mengshi Technology officially acquired a stake in Wanyin Technology, which also marked that this emerging inverter company is accelerating its pace of progress.
