Deepen the implementation of the global energy internet development strategy, strengthen the interconnection within Asia, Africa, South America and other continents, and the interconnection planning related work such as Asia-Europe, Africa-Europe, and promote the interconnection and intercontinental interconnection demonstration projects with neighboring countries. Study and promote the interconnection projects in Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, China-Europe, Middle East-Europe, Africa-Europe, etc. Liu Zhenya told reporters, "At present, we are studying the interconnection planning of the world power grid. For example, the Asian power grid can be a 'five + one' power grid. One is China; the other five power grids are: Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, and West Asia. This is the planning layout of the Asian power grid. In the future, the Asian power grid can be connected to Central Europe, Eurasia, Africa and Asia, Eastern Asia and North America, and North America and South America. Detailed planning has been made.
