Reporter: Hello, Mr. Zhang! Dacheng Precision is a professional manufacturing company engaged in the design and manufacture of various automation equipment. After a short period of rapid development, it has become a relatively prominent professional equipment manufacturer in the lithium battery industry and has received praise from many lithium battery industry customers. Could you please introduce the company's development history and achievements?

Answer: The predecessor of Shenzhen Dacheng Precision was a company that mainly engaged in industrial control product agency. After a certain accumulation, the company began to get involved in the lithium battery equipment manufacturing industry in 2010. Faced with the fiercely competitive lithium battery equipment market, in order to avoid homogeneous competition, we chose difficult and high-tech testing equipment as the entry point. In recent years, we have successfully developed β-ray online weighing instruments and X-ray online weighing instruments for coating machines, laser thickness gauges for cold presses, as well as foil tension measuring instruments, pole piece width gauges and other equipment. Speaking with data, the performance of our company's machines has reached the level of international first-line brands and has been recognized by mainstream manufacturers. Among them, ATL, BYD, Zhuhai Guangyu, Zhongshan Tianmao, etc. are all our users.

Reporter: Facing the fierce competition in the battery industry, what new measures will your company take in the research and development of new products? What products will be launched that are more in line with customer needs? What are their characteristics?

A: R&D is the lifeline of an enterprise, especially in today's information age. Once a new technology emerges, it will soon be imitated or surpassed. Without R&D, the bigger the enterprise is, the greater the risk. The new products our company is developing include: (1) O-frame X-ray weighing instrument: The O-frame fixed mode drives the measurement module, which is convenient for tracking, and then realizes the double-frame combination test of the head and tail, which can more accurately measure the surface density of the coating.

(2) High-precision diaphragm thickness gauge: Now, the thickness of the lithium battery diaphragm after being coated with a ceramic film also needs to be measured and controlled. Our company has started research and development in this area.

(3) Plasma dry aluminum burr removal equipment: This project has been listed as a key support project by the Shenzhen Municipal Government, and our pilot machine has been completed. If this technology can be successfully used in production, it will greatly improve the safety of batteries.

Reporter: What sales model does your company adopt in market development? What are the outstanding features of the company's management?

A: Our company is a technology-intensive company. We firmly grasp users with the excellent performance and manufacturing quality of our equipment. In addition, adhering to the concept of reducing the cost of the entire lithium battery industry chain and thus reducing the production cost of lithium batteries, our company prices our products reasonably and does not seek huge profits. We mainly promote pre-sales with technical engineers, supplemented by media publicity and exhibition publicity. Now our equipment has been recognized by mainstream lithium battery manufacturers.

In terms of management, we first focus on R&D and design. We require R&D personnel not to ignore any details and to make the details perfect. "Give full play to the power of design and let profound thinking melt everything" is the concept rooted in the minds of all our R&D personnel. Secondly, we focus on production to ensure that the processing of any part meets the design requirements. "Can foreign equipment be frequently provided with after-sales service when sold domestically?" We ask each employee this question, requiring our equipment to be on par with imported products in terms of quality; "Can't our Chinese company produce products that don't need to be "cleaned up"? " We often ask ourselves this question, which requires us to strictly control every link.

Reporter: Many companies now complain about talent shortage and serious brain drain. Does Dacheng Precision have any good ideas on how to use talent?

A: Shenzhen Dacheng Precision has a stable and efficient team, thanks to our bold innovation in management. For employee management, we draw on the management experience of Haidilao and Suzhou Desheng Mansion. Reporter: With the gradual implementation of China's new energy vehicle policy, power batteries will become a new growth point for performance. How does your company view the future development trend of the power battery industry? Please tell us your opinion.

Answer: The pollution problem caused by China's rapid economic development has attracted the government's high attention, especially the severe smog weather that has occurred frequently in the mainland in the past two years, which has made people increasingly eager to use new energy and clean energy; in addition, the rapid development of lithium battery technology has made people realize that the popularization of electric vehicles is no longer out of reach.

Therefore, we have reason to believe that the spring of lithium batteries will come soon. "Suddenly, as if a spring breeze came overnight, thousands of lithium trees blossomed." Any company in the lithium battery industry must be prepared in terms of technology, talent reserves, and production capacity to cope with the sudden outbreak of demand. Power batteries are battery packs composed of a large number of batteries connected in series and parallel. Due to the requirements of fast charging and safety, people's requirements for power battery consistency can only be higher, not the highest. Solving the problem of battery consistency is a problem that any power battery company must face.

Reporter: The brand itself is a potential huge productive force and has always been the focus of corporate attention. It is particularly important to build a good brand reputation. How has your company built, maintained and developed its own brand in just a few years of development?

A: In terms of brand building, our company focuses on product quality first. I really appreciate the saying, "When people forget about the price, the quality of the product is still talked about by users". We have professional engineers to check the purchase of raw materials; for components that need to be determined by calculation, there must be a clear and correct calculation process, and no random selection is allowed. For technical difficulties, we often use brainstorming to try to find the best solution.

I often encourage our engineers to go to the site more often, communicate more with customers' engineers, find out the shortcomings of the products and seek the best improvement solutions. If artistic creation comes from life, then our good industrial design solutions come from the front line of the factory. Customer needs are the direction that guides our research and development; customer requirements are the last link to make our products perfect. We are best at listening to customers' voices.
