International New Energy Network News: Recently, the 500KW photovoltaic inverter independently developed by YST successfully passed the world's most stringent zero voltage ride-through test of the Experimental Verification Center of the State Grid Electric Power Research Institute.
The test certification shows that the 500KW high-power photovoltaic inverter of EAST fully complies with the requirements of the State Grid's "Test Procedures for Photovoltaic Power Station Access to the Grid" and the latest national standard "Technical Regulations for Photovoltaic Power Station Access to the Grid" for the zero voltage ride-through function of photovoltaic power stations. It indicates that the company's photovoltaic inverter technology has reached the world-class level, laying a solid foundation for the company's rapid development in the photovoltaic market in the future.
This test was conducted strictly in accordance with the latest national standards, requiring not only the photovoltaic inverter to have zero voltage ride-through function, but also the ability to provide dynamic reactive power support during grid voltage drops. This is also the result of the company's scientific research team continuously overcoming technical difficulties and successfully completing the world's most stringent zero voltage ride-through test in a relatively short period of time after the 500KW photovoltaic inverter of EAST successfully passed the low voltage ride-through test last year, breaking through another technical threshold in the photovoltaic field.
According to reports, zero voltage ride-through is the core technology of photovoltaic equipment and a key indicator for determining whether it can be safely connected to the grid. It is a new national standard set to prevent the entire power grid from collapsing and causing large-scale power outages when the voltage drops due to a fault in the power grid. Compared with low voltage ride-through (LVRT) technology, it has higher requirements and more stringent tests. When the power grid is short-circuited due to a fault and the voltage drops, the photovoltaic grid-connected inverter must remain connected to the grid and inject a certain amount of reactive power into the grid according to the instructions of the power grid dispatch to help the grid recover, provide dynamic voltage support, and ensure the stable and normal operation of the power grid. The introduction of this standard is a severe technical test for many photovoltaic inverter manufacturers. At present, only a few companies in China, such as Easy, have passed this test and certification.
The successful passing of the test is a major breakthrough achieved by EAST in continuously promoting technological innovation in the field of new energy applications and continuously improving the performance and reliability indicators of photovoltaic grid-connected inverters over the years. It indicates that the technical indicators of its photovoltaic grid-connected inverters have reached the world-class level, and it has set a new milestone for the company's research and development of solar photovoltaic power generation system products.
At present, EAST's photovoltaic grid-connected inverters have been widely used in the construction of large-scale solar photovoltaic power stations and Golden Sun photovoltaic demonstration projects in Xinjiang, Gansu, Jiangsu, Qinghai, Ningxia, Guangdong, Germany, France, India and other countries and regions at home and abroad, and have achieved good social and economic benefits.
