International New Energy Network News: At Solar Power International 2013, SolarEdge will showcase its newly expanded high-power single-phase solar inverter production line with power up to 11.4kWac.
“To continue our growth, we recently launched a range of commercial solutions and we are now taking it to the next level,” said Peter Mathews, SolarEdge’s general manager for North America. “At SPI, we are demonstrating 98% CEC-weighted efficiency and UL1699B certification for single-phase and three-phase PV inverters.”
However, the company noted that its power optimizer line will be updated in 2014 with new “P-Series” power optimizers featuring higher power, higher operating temperatures and a simplified single-bolt mounting plate.
“With the introduction of the P-Series, we are seeing an even tighter connection between today’s high-power modules and our power optimizers,” said Lior Handelsman, SolarEdge vice president of marketing and product strategy. “Combined with a higher temperature rating and a single fixing bolt, we continue to make installation projects simpler and more cost-effective.”
SolarEdge is exhibiting at SPI's booth #1637.
